The CEO of the HK Nicaragua Canal Development Investment Company, Wang Jing, already managed to secure his telecommunications company a $300 million contract with Nicaragua in 2012. After the canal is done being built, a 49 percent stake of it will go to investors, with the other 51 percent going to the state.
