Season 5 of “Vampire Dairies” continues tonight on the CW and it looks like the jig is up for Katherine Pierce. When we last watched the Mystic Falls crew, it seemed as thought their lives were all slowly starting to crumble, and unfortunately things are getting much better for the teenaged vampires, witch, werewolf and of course the token human, Matt Donovan. But while they have deeper down to go better they can start to pick up the pieces, at least they are starting to come to their senses. Following last week’s revived connection between Matt and Nadia, they seem to be at least for the moment’s allies, mostly due to their distaste of Katherine’s penchant for selfishness. In episode 15, “Gone Girl” Nadia will reminisce about her century long search for her mother, and we are assuming the result of her memories will sway her decision to either help keep her mother alive inside the body of Elena, or switch sides and work with Matt, Bonnie, Caroline and Stefan to come up with a last ditch effort to rescue Elena and give her full control of her body again.

This is not the only rising drama in tonight’s juicy episode; we will also see a nasty confrontation between Tyler and Damon. The now vampire eating Damon has nothing to lose, but neither does Tyler, the pair will unleash some deep resent anger on each other, but considering the synopsis reveals that Caroline and Tyler will finally “come to a new understanding” we are assuming the blonde bombshell comes to her werewolf’s rescue. As for everyone’s favorite couple, Bonnie and Jeremy will once again have to confide in Live for help. But after the meeting, Bonnie is left with a sickly sweet feeling, after getting answers she discovers a secret that “will threaten the lives of all her friends.”
