'Presumed Guilty' Documentary: Mexico Muckraking Film Takes Look At Country's Justice System, Earns Creators Flood Of Lawsuits [VIDEO]

The creators of the award-winning 2011 documentary “Presumed Guilty”, which chronicles the false imprisonment of a young man accused of murder and in the process portrays Mexico’s legal systems as almost grotesquely unjust, are facing a mounting number of lawsuits from a group of plaintiffs which include police, a witness and relatives of the murder victim. Producer Layde Negrete and director Roberto Hernández say they’re the target of “judicial harassment”.
