‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 5 Premiere Spoilers: See Photo Showing 'A' Going After Ezra In ‘EscApe From New York’!

Season 5 of “Pretty Little Liars” is set to be a dramatic one; a sneak peek image and a recently released video clip reveal that “A” is on the loose and set to enact revenge. In the Season 4 finale “A is for Answers” the Liars and Ali were discovered by “A” and chased up to the roof of a New York City apartment building after Hanna pulled a gun on “A” in attempt to protect herself and her friends. But the gun went astray only to end up in the hands of “A” and while we are not sure who the hooded figure was aiming, they certainly didn’t account for Ezra jumping in front of the Liars to protect them. “A” ended up shooting Ezra in the gut.

A new sneak peek video clip show the Liars a few moments after Ezra sustained his gun shot wound, the girls are still in NYC however they are now without “A” and Ezra. Aria turns to her friends and says, “The plan was to get Ali out of town tonight, but now that we know ‘A’’s after Ezra?” Aria, who is clearly emotional about Ezra’s state of health, seems like she wants to forego Alison’s escape plan, and instead stay with Ezra to protect him from “A.”

Emily, who has stayed fiercely protective of Alison throughout her disappearance, disagrees, “I get that ‘A’ wants to shut Ezra up, OK, but Ali is still a target. Can we think of another way to do this?” Aria is less than convinced of the threat against Ali’s life, and instead only seems focused on Ezra replying, “If Ezra...when Ezra pulls through, he’s going to tell us who ‘A’ is and this thing is finally going to be over.”

While fans love Aria’s optimism it seems nearly impossible that Ezra will actually reveal the identity of “A,” let alone will the torment end. And from the looks at a recently released promo picturelati for the premiere episode “EscApe From New York” “A” is doing everything in their power to keep Ezra from talking, even showing up at the hospital in the classic head-to-toe black outfit.

In the sneak peek video, Hanna hears her friends back and forth and tries to think of a quick solution to keep both Ezra and Alison safe. She places a call to the police and reveals, “Um, hi, the guy who just got shot at Bank and Hudson is Ezra Fitz. Yeah, I think you should send a cop to the hospital because I saw what happened and I don’t think this was a random thing.” Hopefully, the police actually heed Hanna’s advice because “A” is most certainly going after Ezra, who “Pretty Little Liars” show runner Marlene King revealed, will be in “pretty bad shape” for the start of Season 5. Fans know that Ali will return to Rosewood, but it seems like the girls escape out of New York City will be more difficult then they original imagined.
