A new chapter has been added to the ongoing saga involving Ángela Aguilar and Cazzu, with speculation that the two artists may be closer than ever this December. According to sources, both singers are expected to be present at the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 11.
This revelation came during Flor Rubio's YouTube show 'Dulce y Picosito,' where internet personality Gabriel Cuevas claimed that TV Azteca is working to bring Cazzu to Mexico to sing 'Las Mañanitas' to the Virgin of Guadalupe, a longstanding tradition.
This announcement surprised viewers and fans, who quickly connected the dots. The bold move by the Mexican network appears to be motivated by Ángela Aguilar's recent confirmation as Televisa's representative for the same event.
Cuevas stated that initial contact has been made with the Argentine singer, though it remains unclear whether her participation has been confirmed or if negotiations are still ongoing.
"There's already been an approach; it's a fact they're trying to bring her in. I don't know how finalized it is, but it would be sensational. Imagine Ángela Aguilar performing on one side and Cazzu on the other," Cuevas said on Rubio's show.
He also suggested that TV Azteca's strategy might be fueled by the intrigue surrounding recent events involving the two artists, aiming to capitalize on the buzz and boost ratings.
For her part, Cazzu has largely stayed out of the spotlight, focusing on raising her daughter. However, she recently broke her silence to address rumors and clarify her position regarding the drama involving Ángela and Christian Nodal.
Meanwhile, Ángela has been more vocal, sharing her side of the story about her relationship with Nodal, now her husband and Cazzu's ex-partner. As a result, the 21-year-old singer has faced a wave of online hate in recent months.
As of now, Cazzu's participation remains unconfirmed, while Ángela Aguilar has already been announced by Televisa. Entertainment journalist Álex Kaffie commented,
"And those who can't stand her, who hate her, well, Ángela Aguilar will be at 'Las Mañanitas' for the Virgin of Guadalupe. Televisa has extended the invitation."
Additionally, Gala Montes, who gained significant popularity after her appearance on the reality show 'La Casa de los Famosos México,' is another potential guest, though her attendance has not been officially confirmed.
It remains uncertain whether Cazzu will accept the invitation. Many believe she might choose to decline and maintain her low profile amidst the ongoing tensions with Ángela.
