Exes Nick Jonas And Miley Cyrus Messaged Each Other On Instagram

Miley Cyrus has been posting a bunch of throwback photos with fellow women friends in honor of Women’s History Month on her Instagram. It attracted some attention from former Disney stars Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato and even ex Nick Jonas.

Cyrus' nostalgic photos and videos were mostly from her time as a Disney star. In her latest update, Cyrus posted a screenshot of her DM sharing an IG post to ex Nick Jonas: an old photo of her wearing a Jonas Brothers shirt. “That moment when even your ex knows your socials have been [fire],” she wrote as caption for the post.

“Amazing. These throwback shots have been [fire],” commented Jonas. “Lol. Hahaha … Hubby is right. These posts r [fire],” Priyanka Chopra in turn wrote.

In the early to mid-2000s, Cyrus and Jonas were one of the most popular couples around. The two first met at a charity event in 2006, when they were just 13, and practically fell in love at first sight. “We became boyfriend and girlfriend the day we met,” Cyrus revealed to Seventeen magazine in 2008.

Cyrus and Jonas’ relationship lasted until late 2007, but there were rumors that they briefly got back together in 2009. Around that time, they’ve both had written and sang songs that were about each other. Cyrus' song “7 Things” was about her breakup with Jonas, and “Wedding Bells” was about Cyrus’ engagement to Liam Hemsworth in 2012, which was included in a Jonas Brothers' album.

Jonas has had multiple relationships and flings since then — Selena Gomez, Olivia Culpo, Kate Hudson and more. Miley has had brief flings as well and an on-again-off-again relationship with Hemsworth.

Both Jonas and Cyrus are now happily married with their own significant other. Nick Jonas is now married to Priyanka Chopra while Miley Cyrus to Liam Hemsworth.

Seemingly, it looks like there’s no bad blood between them. The two have since only remained friends and have been reconnecting more, thanks to their partners. Coincidentally, Cyrus's husband co-starred with Nick’s wife in the rom-com “Isn't It Romantic.”
