Chilly Prince William, Kate Made Zero Effort To Introduce George, Charlotte, Louis To Baby Lilibet: Sources

The continued effects of Prince Harry’s decision to stop being a working royal continue to reverberate in his relationship with the Royal Family, as Prince William is reported on Tuesday to have made no effort to introduce his children to Harry’s youngest Lilibet.

The strained relations between Harry and William and their families stand as William reportedly did not put any effort into introducing his three children to Harry’s youngest child Lilibet, who visited the United Kingdom for the first time during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, according to Page Six.

In spite of an attempt by Harry to introduce the child to William’s family through an invitation to her birthday party at Frogmore Cottage, William and his family went to Wales instead due to a previously-scheduled event related to the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Us Weekly reported.

“William and Kate made no effort at all to introduce Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis to [Lilibet]” during Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee,” royal expert Christopher Andersen said.

“As far as I know, nobody believes they spoke [to each other],” Andersen further claimed regarding William and Harry’s relationship.

Many believe that the tension comes from the CBS interview that the two had with Oprah where they revealed the alleged racism they experienced in the Royal Family, as well as the upcoming memoir from Harry that is reportedly worrying the royals about what may be contained in it.

In spite of this tension between the brothers, Harry’s relationship with the Queen remains as solid as ever, with the Queen spending time with Lilibet during her birthday and reportedly giving her and Harry’s 3-year-old child Archie gifts.

“After reluctantly pulling out of Party at the Palace, spending time with her great-grandchildren and seeing Lilibet turn 1 added some light to her day,” the source said. “She thinks they’re adorable and gave Lili and Archie gifts.”
