The nominations for the 51st annual American Music Awards (AMAs) are led, unsurprisingly, by American rapper Kendrick Lamar, with 10. Among Latin artists, Bad Bunny was the most nominated for the awards ceremony, which will be hosted by Jennifer Lopez.

Lamar's nominations include Artist of the Year, Album of the Year ("GNX"), and Song of the Year ('Not Like Us'). He's followed by Post Malone with eight nominations, and Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan , and Shaboozey with seven each.

The Latino presence stands out with nominations in multiple categories:

  • Favorite Latin Male Artist : Bad Bunny, Feid, Peso Pluma, Rauw Alejandro and Tito Double P.
  • Favorite Female Latin Artist : Becky G, Karol G, Natti Natasha, Shakira and Young Miko.
  • Favorite Latin Duo or Group : Calibre 50, Fuerza Regida, Grupo Firme, Grupo Frontera and Julión Álvarez.
  • Favorite Latin Album : 'I Should Have Taken More Photos ' by Bad Bunny, 'Hurt But Not Sorry' by Fuerza Regida, 'Exodus' by Peso Pluma, 'Cosa Nuestra' by Rauw Alejandro and 'Uncomfortable' by Tito Double P.
  • Favorite Latin Song : 'DTMF' by Bad Bunny, 'Gata Only' by FloyyMenor and Cris MJ, 'Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido' by Karol G, 'Tu Boda' by Óscar Maydon and Fuerza Regida, and 'Soltera' by Shakira.

Additionally, Karol G is nominated for Favorite Music Video for 'If I Had Met You Before'.

Fans can vote for their favorite artists until May 15 at 11:59 PM PT at VoteAMAs.com and on the @AMAs Instagram profile. The Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year categories will remain open for the first 30 minutes of the livestream.

The 2025 AMAs celebrate musical diversity and the impact of Latin artists on the global scene. With a mix of established and emerging talent, the ceremony promises to be a vibrant reflection of today's music.

The ceremony will air live on May 26 at 8:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM PT on CBS and will be available to stream on Paramount+ in the US.
