The rumors of the all-white Xbox One have returned but this time with new details. IGN has reported that Microsoft may be working to bring a range of different Xbox One models to the market. The all-white Xbox One console is said to be disc-less and feature a 1TB hard drive. The report comes from an alleged insider on NeoGAF, though The Verge has been able to verify certain elements of the claims independently. The Verge claims that a white version of the Xbox One will be made available alongside Sunset Overdrive in October.
The website verified that the company is planning to release the white console this year although they don’t announce the timing. The forum poster also claims a limited edition 1TB model of the Xbox One will launch a month later in November. Other rumors about the white Xbox One include the console will not have a Blu-Ray drive but will have a bluetooth adapter. Again no time frame has been given but it is reported that Microsoft has been testing the device internally.
Meanwhile it is also rumored the company will also be working on a Limited Edition “Titanfall” Xbox One console. An image of the supposed console has been floating around online which shows the console and box themed to look like “Titanfall.” Although nice this could always be a photoshop job and wishful thinking by fans. As of now none of these rumors have been verified as true by Microsoft so until that time take them as they are, just a rumor.
