Hailey Baldwin’s husband, Justin Bieber, urged critics to unfollow him on Instagram. The “Baby” singer became visibly upset after trolls asked him to not post photos of his wife on his account.
Last weekend, the award-winning singer uploaded a sweet photo of himself with his supermodel wife. In the snap, the couple is holding each other’s hand while they’re walking toward their car.
“Better at 70, baby,” Bieber captioned the photo. “I love you more every day. You challenge me, strengthen me, and you’re overall way cooler and more awesome than I am and I’m okay with that,” he added.
Shortly after, Bieber uploaded another photo of Baldwin on Instagram. In the picture, the supermodel reveals that she has no makeup on her face.
A troll quickly criticized Bieber’s profession of his love for Baldwin. The critic said that Bieber shouldn’t post photos of his wife online again and again.
“You don’t need to do this, if you really love each other, just live and enjoy it without trying to presume to appear or force someone else to see that you’re in love,” the critic wrote. Immediately after reading the comment, Bieber responded to the Instagram user.
“Honoring your wife publicly is actually such an amazing respectful thing to do,” he said. “It’s not only reassuring to her it’s also a way of giving people something to look forward to. I’m not forcing it down anyone’s throat, YOU follow ME. Should I not make songs about loving my wife or being in love or is that shoving my love for her down your throat too?” he added.
Toward the end of his response, Bieber reminded the troll that he’s living his own life. “Unfollow me if you don’t like what I post,” he concluded.
This isn’t the first time that Bieber took his thoughts to social media after he and Baldwin were criticized. In the past, Bieber and Selena Gomez supporters trolled the singer by saying that he doesn’t really love Baldwin.
Some Bieber and Gomez fans also believe that the former is just using Baldwin to forget Gomez. After all, they are convinced that the ex-couple is meant to be together.
