Simon Cowell is allegedly expecting his first child with Lauren Silverman. But we are all baffled by the facts of this confusing yet juicy gossip story. So who exactly is Lauren Silverman, and is she really pregnant with the music mogul's love child?

Lauren Silverman is 36 years old, exactly 17 years younger than Cowell. The pair have been friends for a few years, photographs emerged of Cowell and Silverman (and her husband) vacationing in St. Bart's together last year.
Silverman is still technically married to one of Cowell's close friends, property developer Andrew Silverman. According to Us Weekly, the couple have been "unhappy for some time and a divorce is in the works."
She is described as a New York socialite. And she could be twins with Cowell's ex-fiancée, Mezhgan Hussainy, the two women look so much a like it is actually difficult to decipher who is who in photographs.
Interestingly enough, Cowell was the co-respondent on the divorce papers filed by Lauren's husband, Andrew, a mere two weeks ago. The divorce papers cited as the reason for why Andrew was ending the marriage. Andrew Silverman told the New York Post that the pregnancy is, "an unbelievable story of betrayal. It is a sad story and a tragic story."
