Watch Jorge Salinas Humiliate Alan Tacher On 'Despierta América' While Promoting 'Pasión y Poder' Univision Telenovela! [VIDEO]

Sometimes it's really hard to wake up in the morning and even more difficult to show off enthusiasm when all you want to do is sleep 5 more minutes. This week, the cast of "Pasión y Poder" had an early call to set to do promo for their production premiering in the U.S. You can tell they were all up earlier than usual as their eyes as incredibly puffy. Fernando Colunga, Susana Gonzalez, Marlene Favela and Jorge Salinas were on the set of Univision's new primetime telenovela talking with Alan Tacher about the project, but one of the four was not having it at all. Can you guess who it is? If you guess Jorge Salinas, you're right! The "Mi Corazón Es Tuyo" star is known to have a bad temper and fires up at the minimal provocation.

As Alan was introducing each cast member, he was reading his cards and adding their character names to the mix so the audience got familiar with them. When it came time to intro Salinas, the latter quipped back saying, "do you not know who we are?" He tried to make a joke of it, but that already set the tone to an awkward interview. Colunga tried to save the situation saying, "it looks nice, I like it." (You can watch the moment at the 45 second mark in the first video.) At the end of that first segment, Tacher turns his attention back to Salinas setting up a remark that the characters in this telenovela are both good and bad. We don't know if Alan was just nervous by Jorge or what happened, but he did fumble a little on his words. Salinas made the following remark: "My God, three questions to say the same thing? You have me really impressed Alan, I see you are very stressed out."

Alan replied: "I am not stressed, I am happy to see you." Mr. Colunga, the shining star of everything, chimed in to try and save the situation again saying, "he's excited, I know him." (You can watch this weird moment on the first video at the 4:25 mark). The tension didn't end there, in a seperate clip on YouTube, Jorge Salinas was explaining his character in the José Alberto Castro production when Alan cut him off, not in a rude way, but in acknowleding that he was understanging his character description. This did not go well with Mr. Salinas who told him, "I'm telling you, that's why I'm telling you, don't listen to the producer." Susana Gonzalez just observed in silence, while Fernando just couldn't believe that Jorge was getting out of control.
