"The Voice" will be down from top 8 to top 5 Tuesday, and here are the final five predictions before America votes on Monday's performances.
The semifinals started Monday, and according to Parade, there are two strong contenders for the winner's title -- Girl Named Tom from Kelly Clarkson’s team and Wendy Moten from Blake Shelton’s team.
Shelton has three of his artists remaining -- Moten, Paris Winningham and Lana Scott, and none of them have ever been placed in the bottom on the Live Shows. Clarkson still has Girl Named Tom and Hailey Mia in the competition. Jershika Maple, who was in the Bottom 3 last week, and Joshua Vacanti from John Legend's team are also vying for "The Voice" title.
New coach Ariana Grande still has Jim and Sasha Allen in the competition. Though they started out as strong contenders, they ended up in the bottom two weeks ago.
TV Line listed Moten, Scott, Maple, Jim and Sasha Allen and Girl Named Tom as contestants who are expected to make it to top 5, and here's why.
Moten, who had a Billboard Hot 100 hit in the early 1990s, is likely technically the best singer of the current season. In addition to her talent, Shelton has done so much for her that she has never had to fight for the Wildcard Instant Save, which means that her place in the finals is assured.
Scott is Season 21’s only country singer. She can deliver a vocal with oomph and buoyancy, but she’s not always all that good. Still, being the only country singer in the show and being part of Shelton’s team, she seems unlikely to be eliminated Tuesday.
Maple is 1,000% present in every performance and is living as much as singing each song. After she competed for the Wildcard Instant Save last week, audience might take more care to see her through to the finish line.
Jim and Sasha Allen have shortcomings, but, the father-son duo might make it to the finals as they are their coach Grande’s final act standing.
Girl Named Tom, group made of the Liechty siblings, aren’t just meant for the top 5 as they are practically a lock to win. Week after week, they dazzle with heavenly harmonies. They have a great sound, great look and excellent chance of winning the title.
"The Voice" airs on NBC on Monday and Tuesday.
