"True Blood" will return to HBO this Sunday for its sixth season. If you're like me than you have been waiting anxiously to catch a glimpse of Billith, grab a drink at Fangtasia and witness the Bill-Sookie-Eris love triangle, luckily we have a couple spoilers to make the premiere even more exciting!
New scoop reveals that season 6 of "True Blood" will display a more human side to life in Bon Temps. We all remember past episodes, Tara getting half of her head blown off, Lafayette stabbing Jesus, and Sookie killing Debbie in a crazy brawl. But now fans will be able to watch their favorite characters grieve in an episode entitled, "Life Matters." "True Blood's" show runner Brian Buckner says it will focus on reminding people that the lives of the humans and vampires in Bon Temps mean something. Fans will see a little "more human side of the supernatural stories we're telling."
Ok so as for some real information, what or maybe who is Billith? Is it bad, good, or a fairy? This season we will see the bond because Bill and Jess grow, he also we make her promise him that "he doesn't lose it." Um...whatever that means. But we can conclude something for this cryptic information, Bill will Bill, but he will also a little part of Lilith and "she will win for a little while."
More new aspects will be the return of three central characters, prepare for the return of Portia Bellefleur, Sara and Steve Newlin.
Portia is Sheriff Andy's sister, remember her? She was also one of Bill's love interest after Sookie. However, the show took an odd soap-opera turn when Bill discovered that he was her great-great-great-great grandson, he glamoured her and the relationship came to an abrupt end.
Other resurfacing characters are Sara and Steve Newlin, this pair has not been on screen together since season 2. Last we heard from these two, Sara was hooking up with Jason however that ended poorly, then in season 4 Steve turned up on Jason's doorstep and declared he was a gay Vampire-American. Now things have changed, "He's at the center of a lot of violence this season," Buckner said of Steve. "He's going to be on the receiving end of some trouble, and he's going to be causing some trouble."
Let's talk about everyone's favorite part of the show, the Bill-Sookie-Eric love triangle! While Bill and Sookie are still the main characters, Eric is in the lead for Sookie's heart although it's not the lovey-dovey relationships we are hoping for. "I think [the love triangle] exists," the show runner explained. "The tension is there, but I would say that these characters have never been further apart, romantically."
