Going through Top Gear BBC withdrawal? 10 days is all that's between you and your fix! The first episode of Top Gear Season 19 will air on BBC 2 on January 27 and the network has just released a new season trailer to let us know just what they've been up to.
We didn't even know a Top Gear Wardrobe Department existed but it's quickly looking like the worst job to have at the best show to work for.
In the trailer, the assistants picked up a shirt riddled with bullet holes, obviously worn when Jeremy Clarkson was driving a bright yellow Lexus LFA supercar while being chased down by a vintage war plane. Perhaps he needed more power. Next, the muddiest henley shows exactly what Richard Hammond's was up to when he tackled Africa in a journey to the Nile River in a Subaru WRX wagon. Finally, there's a massive hole in a jersey, which James May apparently tore when he played a round of Top Gear Rugby. Finally, Stig sits pretty as a delightful Sharon buffs his Simpson race helmet.
Now it's time for the spoilers:
According to GTSpirit, the first episode of Top Gear Season 19 will have Jeremy revisit the minuscule Peel P50 when a team of automotive design students of Coventry University introduce a car that's even tinier. Jeremy will be testing the new micro-car along the streets of London and in front of the Dragons from the British TV show "Dragon's Den."
Next, James May will take a new Bentley Continental GT Speed out onto a British rally stage. Will Captain Slow win the race alone? Absolutely not, but with the assistance of Ex-Mini WRC driver Kris Meeke, he might show a good effort!
Finally, Richard Hammond will get to play with the brand new $1.4 million Pagani Huayra. Nothing short of a masterpiece, the presenter will then hand the keys to their tamed racing driver known as the Stig. Some say that the Pagani Huayra was conceived when Horatio plugged a laptop into the Stig's chest, all we know is that the 720-hp supercar is going to leave the Top Gear Test Track with a trail of molten asphalt in its wake.
