Elon Musk Roasted for 'Dogefather' Badge Number '69420': 'Proof Men Never Mature Past 16'

Elon Musk faced fresh online ridicule after flaunting a fake "Dogefather" police badge inscribed with the numbers "69420," with critics calling it juvenile and "proof men never mature past 16."

Musk, already under scrutiny for his controversial role in the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and a steep 71% drop in Tesla's profits in early 2025, has been shifting focus back to Tesla. His self-appointed title "Dogefather" dates back to a poorly received 2021 Saturday Night Live appearance and reflects his long-standing fascination with outdated internet memes.

On Tuesday, Musk posted a photo of a novelty badge on X, boasting "Knock knock... it's @DOGE." The badge, which may cost around $100, bizarrely included Department of Justice insignia and the motto "Qui pro domina justitia sequitur," despite Musk having no prosecutorial authority.

The badge's number, "69420," merged sexual innuendo and marijuana references, drawing widespread mockery online as proof Musk's sense of humor has stalled since adolescence.

"Proof men never mature past 16," a Reddit user said, while another added, "Proof this Imbecile didn't mature past 8. Fixed it."

Others pointed to the names of his Tesla models as proof of his immaturity. "And his Tesla models are S, E, X and Y. He's a man child," on Reddit user wrote.

"Did you forget about his Texas Institute of Technology and Science (T.I.T.S)??" another responded.

Musk's badge stunt comes as his influence within Trump's White House appears to be fading, with even President Trump reportedly referring to Musk's role in the past tense. Polls show Musk is now the least popular figure in the Trump administration.
