Teen Wife Gang-Raped By Three Men While Husband Helplessly Watched

A teen wife was gang-raped by three men in front of her husband. The accused also recorded a video of the incident.

The heinous crime happened Monday in the city of Agra in Uttar Pradesh, India.

The 19-year-old woman and her husband were on a motorcycle en route to the house of her in-laws when they were stopped by three men, according to a police report.

The woman said the men abused and attacked them. She was then dragged into a jungle where she was gang-raped.

"They dragged us to a nearby jungle where they tore my clothes, raped me and filmed the act," the victim said in the complaint.

The men took turns to rape the woman while her husband helplessly watched.

The suspects threatened and robbed the couple before they let them go.

"We were thrashed and they said they would kill us if we said anything to anyone," the victim said

The couple reported the incident to the police. An investigation has been initiated on the basis of the complaint. The woman was later taken to a hospital for medical examination.

"On the basis of the complaint, we have registered an FIR. The woman named two accused of which one person has been taken into custody and we are questioning him. Senior officials have visited the spot and we are investigating the matter further," Muniraj G, Senior Superintendent of Police, Agra, said in a video statement.

The police had not released the identity of the suspects. This is an ongoing investigation and no further details were revealed at this time.

In a similar incident, a minor girl from Pune, India. was brutally gang-raped by five men before being shot. The 14-year-old victim told police that she was shot when she was being raped by three men. The bullet, however, struck her mobile phone.

Five suspects, including two minor boys aged 16 and 17 have been arrested, officials said. Other suspects in custody were reported to be aged between 20 to 24. According to the police, it was one of the minor suspects who shot the victim. The charges imposed on them were unclear.
