While the Thanksgiving holiday is certainly a time for family members and loved ones to get together and give thanks for all the joyful things in their lives, many people also look forward to the November celebration because of the many shopping deals various stores offer. The biggest shopping day during this time falls on what is known as 'Black Friday.' Falling annually the day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday is a time where shoppers come out in droves with the hope that they're able to cash in on multiple deals in order to save time and money for the approaching Holiday season.
This year's biggest shopping day will fall on Friday, November 29 and with many of the popular retail stores including JCPenney, Macy's, Best Buy and Walmart expected to offer massive savings, shoppers everywhere will certainly use the day to the fullest extent possible. Another store set to offer incredible holiday savings is Target. According to the retail superpower's Black Friday 'sneak peek,' many popular items including PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and loads of video games will receive substantial price breaks during the most anticipated shopping event of the year.
The items expected to sell at the highest volume from November 28 through November 30 concern two of the most popular gaming consoles on the market. During the holiday markdown, gaming fans will be able to purchase a 4GB Xbox 360 S bundle that includes Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports Season Two for only $190. In addition to the break on the Xbox system, fans and users of Sony's PlayStation3 will be have the opportunity to grab a 250GB PS3 with the Batman: Arkham Origins and The Last of Us games for a low price of $200.
In addition to the massive console bundle savings, Target has announced plans to discount many popular video games while also handing out various gift cards. Those who purchase Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Dance Central, Just Dance 3, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and New Super Mario Bros. Wii will be given a $10 gift card while other games are set to experience significant markdowns of their own. For just $7, fans of the Lego series will be able to purchase Lego Battles and Lego Batman (DS) while the Lego Harry Potter Years 1-4 for Wii will sell for just $27.
Additionally, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Max Payne 3 will be available for the low price of $10 while Splinter Cell: Blacklist will come off shelves for $25. Batman: Arkham Origins (game), Battlefield 4 and Madden NFL 25 will be priced at $35.
