Nintendo has announced that new Nintendo Direct broadcast will take place Tuesday, April 8. It was also revealed that the new broadcast will focus solely on “Super Smash Bros.” for Wii U and 3DS. The stream will appear in the usual places and will kick off at 3pm PT / 6pm ET/ 11pm GMT in Europe and the US.
It is still uncertain what exactly will be revealed in the Nintendo Direct broadcast. Since the company has yet to reveal the official release date perhaps that will be on the agenda. We could also see new characters revealed along with new stages and features.
24 fighters have been confirmed for “Super Smash Bros.” Wii U and 3DS. The character roster includes: Diddy Kong, Little Mac, Lucario, King Dedede, Zelda, Rosalina and Luma, Marth, Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser, Pit, Villager, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Pikmin & Olimar, Luigi, Peach, Toon Link and Sonic. A handful of stages inspired by Nintendo games have also been revealed for the title including a “Super Mario 3D Land” inspired stage, “Animal Crossing” inspired stage, “Pokemon X, Y” Lumiose City stage and a “Super Mario Galaxy” inspired level.
