New "Super Mario" stages revealed for "Super Smash Bros." Wii U. Nintendo

Nintendo has revealed that the Wii U version of "Super Smash Bros." will be getting an all-new Mario-inspired stage. The stages name is called "Mushroom Kingdom U."

The photos showed up on Miiverse by the titles director Masahiro Sakurai, who wrote, "When Kamek casts a spell, the stage transforms drastically. This is not what you would call a moving stage.” The pictures showed off two very different looking stages the first a sunny grassy, very Mario classic looking stage. And the second appears to be a dangerous icy stage. Both stages included Sonic, Mario, Rosalina and Luma, Mega-Man. Check out the screens below:

Late last month Ike was revealed as another playable character bringing the roster to 30. The cuother 29 characters include: Greninja, Charizard, Yoshi, Sheik, Zero Suit Samus, Diddy Kong, Little Mac, Lucario, King Dedede, Zelda, Rosalina and Luma, Marth, Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox,Pikachu, Bowser, Pit, Villager, Mega Man, Wii Fit Trainer, Pikmin & Olimar, Luigi, Peach,Toon Link and Sonic.

"Super Smash Bros." for 3DS is expected to release this summer while the Wii U version is said to be available Winter 2014.
