Colombian singer Shakira was admitted today, Sunday, February 16, to the Delgado Clinic in Lima, Peru, just hours before her highly anticipated concerts at the National Stadium in the South American country.
According to reports collected by local media and social networks, Shakira entered the clinic around 5:00 AM due to intense abdominal pain associated with gastritis. The she-wolfshak herself confirmed the news this afternoon.
An endoscopy was performed as part of the medical treatment necessary to determine the exact causes of the discomfort.
How is Shakira?
Initially, sources close to the event assured that this situation was not expected to significantly affect the concerts scheduled for this Sunday and the following Monday. In fact, a great effort was made to provide an adequate solution to his medical condition without having to cancel or postpone the scheduled musical events.
However, it was not possible. Shakira herself announced that she had been told to rest, so she cancelled the show.
