Colombian superstar Shakira kicked off her 'Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour' with a surprise for fans—not just with the quality of her performance but also with subtle messages directed at her ex, Gerard Piqué, and his current girlfriend, Clara Chía, with whom the former footballer allegedly cheated on her.

Beyond modifying the lyrics of 'La Bicicleta,' her collaboration with Carlos Vives, to remove any mention of Piqué, Shakira also debuted a revamped version of her hit 'Don't Bother', making pointed changes to its lyrics.

Originally depicting a love triangle where Shakira played the outsider, the new version takes direct aim at Piqué and Chía with five significant lyrical alterations.

One of the most striking changes was replacing "she's got perfect friends" with "she shares your stupid friends," referencing Shakira's strained relationship with Piqué's social circle.

However, that was just the beginning. Rather than suggesting the other woman was calmer and better than her, Shakira now asserts that she is unmatched.

"She works for you for free, don't make her lose her mind. She's more than you deserve, and yet she's still not better than me," she sings in this updated version.

One of the most dramatic lyrical shifts comes when Shakira originally sang, "She's almost six feet tall. She must think I'm a flea." Instead, she now flips the narrative to reference her intimate relationship with Piqué, boldly stating, "The sex was great with me."

The final verse also underwent a major transformation, with Shakira no longer speaking in vague terms about sacrifices but making it clear how much she gave up for their relationship—only to have it fail.

"I gave up everything I had for you and moved to a socialist country just to be with you. I filed my nails down so they wouldn't hurt you. I lost weight, learned about football just so you'd stay, but you didn't—and you won't."

Shakira's Sao Paulo audience witnessed a fearless and unfiltered performance. Beyond the lyrical changes, she also took a jab at Chía with the 'She Wolf' intro, where commandments were projected on screen.

The ninth commandment reads: "Real she-wolves do not covet their neighbor's possessions. Clearly!"—a nod to the phrase she famously used in 'Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53' to reference Chía.

Since her split from Piqué, Shakira has channeled her heartbreak into music, addressing the infidelity in several songs, including her hit collaboration with Bizarrap and 'TQG' with Karol G. While many fans cheer her every word, others criticize her for continually targeting the couple, accusing her of being unable to move on.

The real question remains: Has Shakira truly not moved on from Piqué and Chía, or has she simply mastered a lucrative marketing strategy?
