Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), is leading the congressional push to investigate the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy, but her plan is already facing scrutiny – she wants to question members of the Warren Commission, all of whom have been dead for decades.

"I was going to say, based on what we're actually looking to do with the JFK investigation, I'm looking to actually bring in some of the attending physicians at the initial assassination, then also people that had been on the various commissions looking into like the Warren Commission," Luna said during a recent briefing.

She added that conflicting evidence and anomalies reported at the time, including the autopsy conducted at Bethesda, Maryland, warrant further examination.

Shortly after her remarks, the fact-checking mechanism on X pointed out a glaring issue—every single member of the Warren Commission is deceased. The commission, established by President Lyndon B. Johnson back in 1963, was made up of Chief Justice Earl Warren, senators, congressmen, and intelligence officials. None of them are alive today.

Many are mocking Luna over her comments, with some even posting Ouija boards.

"She's going to hold a seance, apparently," one user said.

"If Anna Paulina Luna has a time machine, why doesn't she just go back to the actual assassination?" another joked.

Luna's efforts are part of President Trump's recent executive order to declassify all remaining files related to the assassinations of JFK, Robert F. Kennedy, and Martin Luther King Jr.

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer appointed Luna to chair the Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets. This position puts her at the helm of efforts to make classified government documents public.
