A fire broke out in a Tesla lot in Seattle, damaging four Cybertrucks and raising questions about possible arson as authorities investigate the cause.

Around 11:13 p.m. Sunday, a fire started in a fenced lot where Tesla vehicles were stored before being delivered to customers, KOMO reported.

Witnesses reported seeing flickering flames before an explosion sent fire shooting up 8 to 10 feet into the air. Firefighters arrived quickly and extinguished the blaze, but one Cybertruck was reduced to charred debris, another was severely damaged and two more sustained minor damage.

No injuries were reported, but investigators are now working to determine whether the fire was accidental or a deliberate act of vandalism.

Incidents of vandalism and violence against Tesla properties have been reported across the country, including gunfire at a dealership in Oregon and Molotov cocktails thrown at a Colorado facility.

Tesla has been a particular focal point of protests in recent months, largely due to CEO Elon Musk's role in the Trump administration's Department of Government Efficiency, which has implemented sweeping federal job cuts.
