“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Dorit Kemsley is in an unknown state right now after she was reportedly held at gunpoint by three home intruders.
The 45-year-old was sleeping and was at home with her two children at the time of the home invasion on Wednesday, Oct. 27, just before 11:00 p.m., the Daily Mail reported.
Kemsley had just returned to her Encino Hills mansion following a trip to London. She attended her nephew’s wedding on Tuesday together with her husband Paul Kemsley.
She went home ahead of her husband. After learning of the incident, PK Kemsley is reportedly headed home to his wife’s aid. Dorit is reportedly traumatized as a result of the incident, casting doubts on whether she will be ready to start working on the next season of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” on Thursday, Oct. 28.
At the time of the incident, all the actress was thinking about was the safety of her two kids – 7-year-old Jagger and 5-year-old Phoenix.
The three intruders reportedly broke into the mansion at about 10:50 p.m. They smashed through a children’s classroom door.
Two of the suspects went into the bedroom where Kemsley was sleeping. She woke up seeing the two men at the end of her bed.
The men grabbed her and she said: “Don’t hurt my babies. Don’t kill me. I'm a mother.” One of the men allegedly said to kill her.
From there, the intruders went on to ransack the house and stole all of the actress’ jewelry and handbags. The men did not enter the kids’ bedrooms and no one was reportedly hurt.
When the robbers left, Kemsley immediately called and reported the incident to the police. As of this writing, the value of stolen items has yet to be known. The identities of the suspects are also unknown for now with the Robbery-Homicide Division of the Los Angeles police carrying out the investigation.
Before the recent incident, the Kemsley’s old home in Beverly Hills was also targeted by robbers while it was on the market. They ended up taking it off the market.
