To date, there is no official word on whether DC Comics fans will ever get to see another “Justice League” movie. The first and only one so far saw two different versions under Zach Snyder.
However, the second release – “Snyder’s Justice League” – technically only showed the ones taken out in the original film. In all, there were subplots and scenes that most did not see. But the reason behind that is that the so-called Snyder Cut was too long – proof that Snyder had so many things in mind.
When asked if he could see another “Justice League” film made without him directing, Snyder had no clear answer. While he hailed others like Matt Reeves (“Batman” movie) and Andy Muschietti (“The Flash”), the 55-year-old seemed pretty uncertain when he responded to Games Radar.
"Listen, I loved making all those DC movies, and I love superheroes, and I love the genre. I'm very excited to see Matt [Reeves]'s Batman movie [The Batman], so that's exciting. Something like that [though], I'm not sure," Snyder said.
There is no promise that Snyder may return and direct another “Justice League” for now. As far as Warner Bros. and DC are concerned, there is no official word if a sequel is happening anytime soon.
But for comic fans, most know that there are a lot of Justice League stories to tell. But one point that is worth considering is that it would be costly – referring to the talent fee of stars who originally appeared in the first installment.
For now, all DC fans can do is watch the individual stories of the “Justice League,” Wonder Woman and Aquaman have two installments already. “The Flash” should be pretty interesting and a “Cyborg” movie would be great.
But the future of more DC-inspired characters turned into a film may hinge on what happens on “The Flash.” Most know about the famed “Flashpoint” or time travel in the comings and the TV series. So whatever happens at the end of that Ezra Miller starrer could dictate what comes next for Warner Bros. and DC.
