Rachel Jeantel, Trayvon Martin's friend and alleged star witness in the George Zimmerman trial, has been offered a full scholarship to any Historically Black College or University she chooses by radio personality, Tom Joyner.

Jeantel spoke to Joyner this morning on his radio show. Joyner started the radio show by boldly proclaimed, "Hi Rachel, this is Tom Joyner, I love you, I really do love you", Jeantel, showed her young age, and shyly giggled before responding, "I know."

The gracious host continued and then made a life-changing offer, telling the 19-year-old, "If you want to graduate from high school, and go to an HBCU, even if it's not in Florida but especially Florida, like Florida Memorial, Edward Waters or FAMU, if you want to do that, I want to help you do that. I will help you get tutors to get you out of high school, tutors to help you pass the SAT and I will give you a full ride scholarship to any HBCU you'd like."

Jeantel who seemed to be in immediate shock, simply responded "thank you."

The website that Joyner founded, BlackAmericaWeb.com, confirmed the news. Joyner said that he was moved by Jeantel's testimony. During the George Zimmerman trial, the public reacted as the 19-year-old took the stand and continually criticized her for her "lack of education." The funding for the scholarship will come from the Tom Joyner Foundation.

Later in the radio show, Jeantel admitted she might be interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement, but she reminded Joyner that she "doesn't like bodies."
