Rachel Jeantel Tells Piers Morgan The Jury Cleared Zimmerman Because Of Race, Explains 'Cracka' Comment [VIDEO]

Rachel Jeantel, the friend of Trayvon Martin, had a revealing interview with Piers Morgan last night and stated that she believes the jury cleared Zimmerman simply because of race. Jeantel was the last person to speak to Martin on the night of his murder, she was on the phone with the 17-year-old teen who encountered George Zimmerman.

Jeantel admitted during the interview with Morgan that she "had a feeling" the largely white-female jury would find Zimmerman not guilty based on race. "If Trayvon was white and he had a hoodie on, would that have happened?" she questioned, inferring that the largely white female jury would not indict Zimmerman due to his light skin tone.

The teen first began the interview by stating that after hearing the Zimmerman's verdict of not guilty, she felt "disappointed, angry, upset, question, and mad," she also referred to the jury's assessment of Martin's murder as "just B.S."

And while Jeantel seemed a bit more relaxed during the candid interview with Morgan, the audience still saw the prosecution's star witness who mumbled, was seemingly uninterested and lacked the passion one would except to see after losing a dear friend. She rocketed to national attention due to her description of Zimmerman as a "creepy ass cracker" during testimony that intensified the racial bias that was inserted into the trial. Jeantel reacted to Juror B37 speaking out about her testimony, and stated that to her "cracka" was a racial term but instead "cracka" is a person that is acting like the police.

She also defined the word "ni**a" in her own words. When Morgan prompted Jeantel, "Is there's anything you wished you said" on the witness stand? She quickly responded, "Ni**a." And while the world views the word as an incredibly racist word, Jeantel explained that by changing the spelling and pronunciation of the word, her generation has also changed the meaning. So Morgan then asked her what exactly does the controversy sparking word mean to her.

"That mean a male," Jeantel responded, "any kind of male. Any kind. Chinese can say ni**a. That's my Chino, ni**a. They can say that." There are limits when the word takes on a racist connotation, she said. "But ni**er," she added, stressing the pronunciation of the last two letters, "I'll advise you not to use that, because that's a racist word."

One of the more tension-filled questions of the interview was when Morgan questioned Jeantel about Martin's apparent drug use. She told him how she was upset with the defense's attempt to paint Trayvon as a violent, drug using teen. Jeantel responded rather candidly, stating, "You say marijuana, but in my area, we say weed. For Trayvon, I can explain one thing. Weed don't make him go crazy. It just make him go hungry."
