Microsoft has unveiled the box art for the upcoming Xbox One game "Quantum Break."

The picture for the box art was released on the game's Facebook page. Check it out below.

Little is known about the game from Remedy Entertainment, who developed the "Max Payne" series, other than the fact that it will blend live-action videos with regular gameplay. There is also a television series in the works that's comparable to Defiance.

From the games cryptic trailer and less than telling screenshots the protagonist is anyone's guess. From the info we have now we know it's a shooter and it looks as if a fictional government agency is involved. Again all speculation until the actual details come out.

Microsoft's Phil Spencer spoke with Polygon's website on how the game developer will work together to bring a new kind of shooting game to next generation consoles saying Microsoft and Remedy Entertainment are "trying to push the boundaries of how people think of live action and gaming today.

He added, "The unique capability of Remedy, I think is around storytelling, and television's always been a great place to tell strong stories. We've got this interactive component ... where actions in one and viewing in one, impact what people are doing in the other. That's our creative idea."

"The team has enough momentum in that space, I thought, so it was a great opportunity to put them on stage and show something. We'll talk more as the game evolves."

The announcements came from the Xbox Reveal event. No word yet on which network "Quantum Break" will be on.

No release date has been given for the game either but we expect to hear more at E3.
