Ardent fans followers of the royal British family had something really adorable to gush over this Halloween, all thanks to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wished everyone a very happy Halloween in the cutest and most “spook”tacular way ever— with the help of their “little pumpkin” Archie!
Netizens were wished through a throwback Instagram snap, which featured Prince Harry and Meghan during their official tour of New Zealand in 2018. The picture was clicked during last years’ Halloween, as the royal couple can be seen surrounded by a bunch of people decked in costume. The post came along with a cutesy message, where they referenced their 5-month-old son to a popular Halloween reference— pumpkin. “Wishing you all a safe and fun Halloween from our family (and our little pumpkin) to yours,” the statement read.
The period of time holds immense significance in their lives as, although Archie wasn’t born yet during the couple’s trip to New Zealand, their new-born son joined the couple along during their Africa tour in September. Meghan Markle spoke with the press about her gratitude to the people who made things easier for her. “While, we’re doing well,” she said on Oct. 1. “I think the schedule — they have been very kind to me, because everything is based around Archie’s feed times. So it’s a full plate, but we’re making it work. It’s worth it,” she added.
As per reports, the trip demanded the Duke and Duchess to stay apart for a bit— Meghan Markle stayed with Archie in Cape Town while Prince Harry traveled throughout South Africa solo. “Being able to be in Africa and South Africa — it’s my first time being in this country — has been really powerful,” she said. “And Harry has continued on in a couple [of] other countries — we are reuniting today, which I can’t wait for, I miss him so much! But I think for us, it has been a really special trip because you get to see when you’re focusing on the causes that are really important to us, you can see that the impact is good, and it feels meaningful,” she added.
