'Pretty Little Liars' Summer Finale: 'A' Is Finally Revealed And You Won't Believe Who It Was!

"Pretty Little Liars" Season 6 Summer Finale begins with “A” trying to jump off a building and the “Liars” trying to stop him from doing so. Fade out to earlier that night; we are back at prom. The girls walk down a back hallway and someone dressed in a red coat and wearing a mask confronts them, it’s Mona, who says she’s been following Alison since she started talking to Charles. Mona explains Charles has his own cellphone network and she’s been tracking it.

Cut to, “A” dragging Jason’s body and Alison locked in a cell with her dad’s body in the room next to hers. Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer, Sara and Mona make it to Charles headquarters and get in with Sara’s help, inside they find a control room with a live transmission from Ali’s cell. The PPLs notice she is alone with Charles. It’s time for the big reveal. “A” walks up to the camera, it’s all pitch black but then we see his face…her face, it’s Cece Drake.

Yes folks, Cece Drake is aka "A" aka Charles aka Charlotte DiLaurentis. Cece mentions Jason and Mr. DiLaurentis are still alive and proceeds to explain everything to Ali while the girls are watching from the control room. Turns out, Charles was not as dangerous as we thought he was, and he never tried to hurt Ali on purpose (at least not in the beginning), but Mr. and Mrs. DiLaurentis locked him up at Radley anyway. But as the story progresses, we start to realize that he was a very troubled kid.

Cece tells Ali he always wanted to be a girl and Mrs. DiLaurentis was very supportive of this, she used to visit her at the Sanitarium and she would even bring her girly outfits. Mom helped Charlotte to move on, but she wanted to be close to her family so she started having a life in Rosewood instead of going away and that’s how it all began.

Throughout the episode, Cece reveals the answers to all of our questions:

1) Who killed Toby’s mom? Bethany, and wanted to blame Charles/Cece for it so Mrs. DiLaurentis moved everything around to make it look like a suicide.

2) Who hit Alison in the head with the rock the night she went missing? Cece/Charles did, and Mrs. DiLaurentis covered for her child again.

3) Who killed Bethany? Mona did, as she is watching Cece tell her story, she breaks down into tears and confesses to the murder.

4) Who is Red Coat? Alison, and sometimes Sara Harvey, when “A” needed her to be.

5) Who is the Black Widow? Sara Harvey, sorry Emily!

Charlotte tries to jump off the building, but decides not to and says: “Game Over.” Fade out to Labor Day, all the “Liars” are saying their goodbyes as they go off to college. The famous time jump happens, it’s five years later. Ali is now a teacher in a classroom and is writing something on the blackboard when all of the sudden, Emily, Aria, Hanna and Spencer storm in yelling: “He is coming for you!”
