This season of “Pretty Little Liars” has been an emotional rollercoaster for fans all over the world. As the girls struggle to survive, the puzzle of Charles’ story begins to come together and in an exciting turn of events, we find out that “A” is related to the DiLaurentis.
At the beginning of the season, Aria, Emily, Hanna, Spencer, Mona, and Sarah make it out Charles’ Dollhouse but must now deal with an angry tormentor whose games begin to take a more demented and darker turn. While all the PLLs are sticking together, conflict arises when Alison starts having fraternal feelings for Charles, and wanders alone in order to find out the reason behind his actions.
During the episode “Last Dance,” the girls try to stop Alison from meeting with Charles, but she follows his instructions and ends up in a secluded room alone with him. At the end of the episode, “A” reveals himself to Alison and we are once again left in doubt.
We are hoping to find out the answers to a lot of our questions during tonight’s summer finale: What does Charles look like? Is he “A”? Who is Red Coat? ABC Family has been releasing clips from the August 11 summer finale and they all hint towards a face-to-face confrontation with “A.”
In the latest clip, the girls walk down a back hallway at prom and someone dressed in a red coat and wearing a mask confronts them (promo stills suggest it might be Mona, but anything can happen in this show!). In the initial clip, the girls try talking “A” off a ledge. That’s correct, they are actually trying to save “A.”
Too many questions, so little time. What will the summer finale of PPL bring tonight? Truth is, we don’t know! The network released the following description: “Who killed Toby’s mom? Who hit Alison in the head with the rock the night she went missing? Who is Red Coat? Who killed Bethany? Who is the Black Widow? Why has ‘A’ been targeting the PLLs all this time? After years of torture, Alison, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer finally come face-to-face with their tormentor and learn the story of how and why Charles became ‘A.'”
Are you excited to find out? We sure are!
