‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 5 Spoilers: Episode 3 Title Revealed! Find Out What To Except In ‘Surfing The Aftershocks’

Even though the premiere for Season 5 of “Pretty Little Liars” is not until June, the production of the forthcoming season is in full swing. So in an attempt to ease the pain that comes with no “Pretty Little Liars” on Tuesdays, we are speculating about what to expect when fans get back to Rosewood and our favorite Liars! We know that Season 5 begins with the Liars still in New York City, however the girls and Ali will not be returning to Rosewood like conquering heroes, instead “A” will still be on the loose, Ezra is in critical condition and they are on the run for their lives. Furthermore if the Season 5 premiere episode titles indicates anything, the Liars will have a tricky time navigating back to Rosewood from the Big Apple, the episode is titles “EscApe From New York.”

The latest episode title to be confirmed is episode 3, “Surfing the Aftershocks,” and while it is also revealing, we are not getting the same literal connection, mainly considering the Liars live in Pennsylvania and have never before mentioned surfing. So while “EscApe From New York” is more of a literal clue, we are thinking that the Season 3 episode 3 title is giving fans some more symbolic clues. Assuming that the Liars are not going on a tropical vacation, the surfing will most likely relate to the Liars attempting to ride in the wake of the “A” disaster.

The girls have a lot to process, “A” is still at large, and more acrobatic than ever, Ezra is fighting for his life, Noel Kahn is helping Ali, and the Queen herself is back in Rosewood. The aftershocks the title is referring to could revolve around the return of Alison to Rosewood, which quite frankly has to be shocking for pretty much every character on “Pretty Little Liars,” mainly Alison. Also the after shock could refer to the death of Mrs. DiLaurentis, if she is really dead. Ali is finally back in Rosewood since pretending to be murdered and her mother happens to be murdered?! Talk about a crazy coincidence.

As for the episode 3 title “Surfing the Aftershocks,” there doesn’t seem to be many literal connections, considering the lack of available waves in Rosewood. But one-thing fans should prepare for the possibility of Alison revealed flashbacks. Alison did spend a lot of time on the beach the summer before she disappeared, so it makes sense that she would have learned to surf. Maybe Beach Hottie taught her, or maybe Ezra, who is also known as Board Shorts, has a secret surfing talent.
