‘Pretty Little Liars’ Season 5 Spoilers: Big Spencer, Toby Secret To Come Out In Episode 2! What’s In Store For ‘Spoby’? 

The premiere date for Season 5 of “Pretty Little Liars” is steadily approaching, and while we have had a ton of spoilers regarding Alison’s inevitable return to Rosewood and Ezra’s miraculous recovery, word on "PLL’s" favorite couple has been minimal. We know that Caleb will return for the highly anticipated 100th episode, and he will be reunited with Hanna -- "Haleb' fans rejoice -- but what about "Spoby"? Has “Pretty Little Liars” really forgotten about the epic love story between Spencer and Toby? Not yet! The upcoming season will bring the reunion of Spencer and Toby, who have not shared a steamy shirtless Toby shower scene in a good long while, much to fan’s dismay.

Fans have been complaining about the lack of Spencer and Toby news, so much so that “Pretty Little Liars” show runner Marlene King heard, and responded. “OK Spoby's. DO NOT MISS EPISODE 502! There I said it. Kinda loudly,” King tweeted. Finally! While it’s not much in terms of “Pretty little Liars” spoilers, it at least gives us hope and confirms our suspicions that a big secret will be revealed in Episode 2, “Whirly Girl.”

The end of Season 4 left fans wanting more "Spoby," but in addition to Spencer’s addiction to Adderall, which prompted Toby's departure from the series, actor Kegan Allen celebrated his Off Broadway debut in New York City, meaning his filming schedule in California was nearly impossible. Despite his absence at the end of Season 4, Kegan Allen has already promised fans that Toby and Spencer will be back together in Season 5 and uncovering a huge secret.

Allen first posted a rather short but sweet Instagram video of himself and co-star Troian Bellisario filming episode 2, “Whirly Girl” on the “Pretty Little Liars” set. And even out of character the two looked every inch a couple. The video begins with a close up shot of Allen and Bellisario cuddled close together, Allen then tells the camera that the on-screen couple is enjoying a “private moment,” to which Bellisario coyly agrees.

Then the witty videographer flips the camera to reveal the beauty behind the take, and exposes the “PLL” crew hard at work attempting to perfect the tender reunion. The actor’s off-screen friends and crew then laugh at the not-so intimate setting, as they prepare for some "Spoby" scenes.

This wasn’t the only spoiler Allen provided for fans, he recently took to social media again but except this time he posted an even more revealing picture with his co-star. Allen and Bellisario are posing close together in a sepia tone snapshot, Bellisario has her best Spencer face on, complete with raised, inquisitive eyebrows. In the shot, Bellisario looks more intrigued, while Allen looks plainly shocked, with his jaw dropped, eyes wide and one hand up in the air. Fans are left wondering what exactly these two are reacting to. Allen captioned the photo, “The moment we found out @SleepintheGardn haha #pll.”

These two co-stars have been on a teasing mission because like Allen, Bellisario revealed that she and Allen have learned a new secret. On her Instagram, Bellisario posted a black and white image of Kegan Allen and show runner Marlene King in a serious discussion. While it’s always good to see this pair on the “Pretty Little Liars” set, the caption was the most revealing part of the post. Bellisario wrote, “Storytime with Mar. trust me. You all are so sad you missed out on this one. (Now keegs and I can really be know it alls).”

There are so many secrets on “Pretty Little Liars” to uncover, I don’t even know where to begin. But if Spencer and Toby are solely working together on the mystery in episode 2, “Whirly Girl,” then it seems most likely that it has something to do with his mother, Mrs. Cavanaugh and of course Radley.
