There were some major snubs at this year's TVyNovelas nominations. "Lo Imperdonable" and "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo" got snubbed big time as they both only scored 3 nominations a piece. Not only that but neither of the leading actors from both productions got mentioned, that is Ana Brenda Contreras andIván Sánchez for "Lo Imperdonable" and Marjorie De Sousa, Pedro Fernández and David Zepeda for "Hasta El Fin Del Mundo." Another thing worth mentioning is that "Pasión y Poder" was nominated without having ended, which has people already raising their voice. In the José Alberto Castro production, Fernando Colunga got nominated as Male Villain, Jorge Salinas got a mention for Best Male Lead, but neither of the women scored a nod, that's Marlene Favela and Susana Gonzalez. Although it is worth noting that the latter received one for "La Sombra Del Pasado," a telenovela she was not even in for the whole way through.
The top award of the night is Best Telenovela where the following productions are nominated: "Antes Muerta Que Lichita," "A Que No Me Dejas," "La Vecina," "La Sombra Del Pasado," "Muchacha Italiana Viene A Casarse" and "Pasión y Poder." In the Lead Actress category the following are nominated: Maite Perroni for "Antes Muerta Que Lichita," Esmeralda Pimentel for "La Vecina," Michelle Renaud for "La Sombra Del Pasado," Zuria Vega for "Que Te Perdone Dios" and Livia Brito for "Muchacha Italiana Viene A Casarse." The main men that are nominated as Best Lead Actor are: Arath De La Torre for "Antes Muerta Que Lichita," Osvaldo Benavides for "A Que No Me Dejas," Pablo Lyle for "La Sombra Del Pasado," Juan Diego Covarrubias for "La Vecina" and Jorge Salinas for "Pasión y Poder."
