Fofrmer Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello teamed up with Pitbull and J Balvin to deliver one of the hottest songs of the "The Fate of the Furious" soundtrack titled "Hey Ma." The summer hit is ridiculously catchy and sounds very tropical, with Balvin's sexy voice, Camila's feminine touch and Pitbull's signature style.
The music video is an explosion of color with scenes from the latest "Fast and Furious" franchise movie featuring Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez intertwined. Cabello definitely explores her Cuban roots, showcasing her gorgeous curves in ensembles that hug them well while strolling down the streets of Cuba, helping Balvin with his domino game and having the time of her life.
Meanwhile, J Balvin looked relaxed, in what seemed to be an upscale version of your typical Hawaiian shirt, with rainbow hair and keeping it cool, and Pitbull looked dapper in a navy ensemble with a white blazer.
Recently, Pitbull confessed the song "Hey Ma" was conceived with Britney Spears and Romeo Santos in mind, and the "Fast And Furious 8" team was on board, but for some reason that didn't happen and instead, Camila Cabello and J Balvin took over. And we're glad they did. Pitbull still sees a possibility of collaborating with Brit on the remix for the song or any other song in the future, and we wouldn't mind Romeo Santos in the mix either.
In the meantime, this opportunity has been great for Camila, who recently left Fifth Harmony to focus on her solo career. "Working with Pitbull and J Balvin was a huge honor," Camila said in a statement. "I’m so excited to be a part of this incredible franchise, especially with it being filmed in my original home of Cuba."
"Hey Ma" will also have an English version that will come out April 14, the same day the movie premieres. Watch the video for the Spanish version below!
