A newlywed couple pulled off a shocking stunt in front of their guests during their wedding by setting themselves on fire.
Ambyr Bambyr Mishelle and her groom Gabe Jessop, 42-year-old professional stunt artists, decided to make their send-off a bit more dramatic and set themselves ablaze in a "Hunger Games"-style wedding ceremony.
The couple exited in flames following their reception, similar to what Suzanne Collins' character Katniss does in Hunger Games.
The couple had taken all safety precautions before pulling off the deadly stunt, They had worn fire-proof gowns and suits and had covered themselves in anti-burn gel, before walking onto the field with burning flames on their back.
"Ambyr and Gabe met on set, their wedding exit makes sparklers look boring," DJ Russ Powell joked in a video taken during the ceremony.
The fiery footage - captioned "when stunt people marry" ends with the bride and groom kneeling as a wedding attendant douses the flames with a fire extinguisher.
Onlookers and netizens were surprised the couple's hair and skin didn't get burned during the stunt.
"Please tell me the hair was protected," said one commenter, to which Powell replied: "They both had anti-burn gel in their hair and face, then she had a wig on top. They were also reportedly wearing fireproof clothing,"
The stunt set the comment section ablaze with one impressed TikToker exclaiming, "Damn! A full burn to tie the knot."
"NGL… your wedding is gonna be top 10 for life," seconded Powell in the comments.
"If my marriage is not going to be this lit I’m leaving him at the alter," added another awestruck commenter.
"I know that photographer was stressed," joked one viewer, while another joked about how the cameraman failed to capture the moment, typing: "Photographer: ‘Can we have a rerun? I forgot to take off the lens[cap].’"
However, some concerned netizens wondered if the couple was OK following the stunt.
"So many things could’ve killed them in this video," said one commenter.
The stunt double couple work on TV and film sets such as "Yellowstone" and "Hereditary".
