Party In The Poconos 400
Party In The Poconos 400 is Sunday, June 9, at 1 p.m. NASCAR

The NASCAR Party In The Poconos at Pennsylvania's Long Pond Pocono Raceway live stream begins Sunday, June 9, at 1:00 PM ET on TNT. The Sunday main event brings the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series to the 2.5 mile "Tricky Triangle" at Long Pond, Pennsylvania. For race fans out there who will not be by a TV when the flag starts waving, be sure to catch the live stream online for free by signing up for Nascar RaceView here.

Rain in the Northeast throws a curve ball as weather conditions cause NASCAR Sprint Cup to cancel practice and interrupt qualifying.

Points leader Jimmie Johnson starts at pole before Carl Edwards, Clint Bowyer, Matt Kenseth, and Kevin Harvick in the Top 5 as the grid was set by Sprint Cup standings.

The rained out practice took place right before the Chevrolets of hard Childress Racing (Harvick, Jeff Burton, Paul Menard) and Stewart-Haas Racing (Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman and Danica Patrick) had an opportunity to conduct some valuable testing.

"Those guys are praying for rain (Saturday) because there will be a huge advantage if we don't get any practice," explained Carl Edwards.

"It's a good thing we tested," said Patrick, who will start 30th in her debut on the triangular track with three distinct turns of varying banking. "I've qualified worse than that on my own. It's not in the very back."

The Party In The Poconos 400 will be the first race at Pocono with the Gen 6 cars, which has applied new setups at every track. The lighter Gen 6 models are expected to run very quickly on Pocono's repaved layout with top-end straightaway speeds likely to top 200 mph.
