Mariah Carey and James Packer have been dominating headlines with their messy split. The former couple that was once engaged has hit rock bottom, with the starlet reportedly asking her former beau to pay up some serious cash!
According to the TMZ, Mariah Carey is asking James Packer for the $50million payoff because she’s claiming that he uprooted her entire life when he moved her from New York to Los Angeles to be closer to his own children.
The couple that began dating in June 2015 announced their engagement in January of this year came to a crushing halt as their relationship fizzled. The pair reportedly came to blows a few weeks ago during a trip to Southeastern Europe and hasn’t seen each other face-to face since their epic showdown.
The site reports that Packer has made various financial promises to the pop diva. It was also reported that Packer let Mariah keep the $10million engagement ring he gave her.
Due to the split Mariah’s new reality TV show is said to “be up in the air.” The Mirror reports that Mariah’s World is set to hit television screens on December 4 but E! executives that will broadcast the program are concerned that she’ll demand the whole thing be pulled after she ended her engagement with the billionaire.
Although the show was not set to be centered around her relationship with Packer, their sudden breakup was also sue to his reservations about possibly having their relationship exposed on camera.
"James had huge reservations about Mariah's new reality TV show and the fact that she was willing to expose their lives to the world ... James is very generous, but Mariah takes it to the next level."
There is no word on if Packer will be paying Mariah the $50million she has requested.
