MIAMI - María Celeste Arrarás shared on Thursday the sudden death of her romantic partner of more than a decade, Raúl Quintana's. According to the Puerto Rican journalist, who had just landed in Spain when she heard what happened, the Miami businessman suffered a fatal heart attack while exercising.

Just two days ago, the couple attended the graduation of Arrarás's youngest child, Adrián. The day before, they attended her daughter Lara's, both from Florida International University. Friends of the family told The Latin Times that the children saw him as a second father.

Known for her significant contributions to Hispanic television and journalism, Arrarás's profound grief was echoed by messages of support from friends and colleagues across social media platforms.

Venezuelan businessman Raúl Quintana had been a figure in Arrarás's life for a considerable time. Their relationship, which followed Arrarás's earlier marriage to Manny Arvesú, a real estate attorney and father of her three children, was publicly known and followed by many of her fans.

Arrarás and Quintana dated for three years before moving in together in 2010 and breaking up a few months later. Two years later, they reconciled and had been together until now. "I am very happy," said Arrarás last year, during an interview on the Rodner Figueroa podcast.

While she had kept their relationship private for many years, the couple had recently started to share tender moments on social media, showing their various activities and travels together. The now bittersweet graduation photos show the Arvesú Quintana children together with their mom and dad, as well as their significant others.

This is, without a doubt, my most painful post. we miss him already!"

It's not known yet when will Arrarás return to Miami from Madrid, where she is being supported by close friends.
