Manchester United looked severly outmanned in its last Premier League outing, a 4-1 loss suffered at the hands of fierce rival Manchester City. Confident in their abilities to play strong soccer however, the Red Devils bounced back the next time out, taking down an extremely talented Liverpool team in the third round of the 2013 Capital One Cup. Still looking to improve their position in the 20-club Premier League, Man U and head coach David Moyes have another big match-up on the way against West Bromwich Albion. Life is never easy in the always-competitive Premier League and even though the season is long, each match is important, especially when you consider the fact that the early standings are jammed near the top.

West Brom dropped a close match in the Capital One Cup earlier this week to Arsenal. Playing to a 1-1 draw through regulation and extra time, the Gunners were able to pull out the victory by way of a 4-3 edge in penalties. Currently sitting in the bottom half of the Barclays Premier League table with 5 points, West Brom knows a big performance against Manchester United (2-1-2, 7 points) is crucial if they're to propel themselves up the standings as the season progresses. Gareth McAuley, Liam Ridgewell, Morgan Amalfitano and Stephane Sessegnon have shared the scoring duties in the BPL this season with one tally apiece, displaying the club's ability to spread the wealth on the offensive end.

If they're to take down the Red Devils in front of the always-passionate Old Trafford crowd however, West Brom will not only need timely scoring, they'll need a strong defensive effort capable of slowing down scorers in Wayne Rooney, Javier Hernandez - who had the only goal in the recent win over Liverpool -- and a slew of others. If not, it could be a long Saturday for The Baggies.
