Transfer rumors have swirled around Alex Son, the Midfielder for Barcelona. It is possible that Manchester United has targeted Song for a January pick-up. Over the summer, Man-U tried to do business with Barcelona in an attempt to snatch up Thiago Alcantara. The midfielder decided not to play for the Red Devils and instead joined up with Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich. There were also two bids in the works for Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas but David Moyes saw those grab attempts rejected. With their other transfer hopefuls long gone it seems Manchester United is looking at another Barcelona midfielder, Alex Song.
Crunchsports.com reports, "Song joined the Catalans last year in a £15million deal but has struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Camp Nou." In other Manchester United News the team fans were surprised to learn that Manchester United manager Moyes has made the decision to start Wayne Rooney in the Premiere League match with Crystal Palace. Marouane Fellaini will be taking a seat on the bench. Rooney has not played in a match since August 26 after taking a nasty gash to the forehead, reports Goal.com.
David Moyes will also have his hands full having to speak with Winger Ashley Young after Young was "booked for diving in the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace. "I don't want my players diving," said Moyes, when asked about the yellow card. "I don't want anybody doing it. I don't want my players diving. I don't want anybody doing it. The boy (Dikgacoi) definitely throws his leg out but I think Ashley has put his leg into his leg. It is not what I want."
