Manchester United put together a strong 2012-2013 season, capturing the club's 20th Premier League title, outlasting both Manchester City and Chelsea to bring another championship to Old Trafford.

While Man U does certainly possess the capability to win another EPL title this coming season, there is surely room for improvement up and down the roster.

Star player and the leading scorer in the Premier League last season Robin van Persie recently told The Guardian that he's well aware every team in the league will be gunning for the Red Devils.

We have to improve to stay ahead of them because over the last few years the English league has become better and better.

Every single team has got harder to beat. Everyone wants to be successful. Moyes wants to be successful. He has been working very hard and he has spoken to every single player individually.

I want more now. It makes me even more hungry. I was very hungry last year but now I am more hungry.

I want to win more this time. The club wants to win more. Last year we won the league and that was great but this time we want to win the league and more as well.

Cesc Fabregas Joining Man U Midfield?

Among the ways Man U can look to get better would be the possible signings of Cesc Fabregas and Gareth Bale.

Old Trafford and head coach David Moyes recently put together a strong financial offer in an effort to land the 26-year-old Fabregas. Upping an original offer of £25 million to £30 million, Man U clearly has the finances and the desire to land one of the top midfielders in all of soccer.

Fabregas spent the last two seasons with Barcelona and even though a large pitch came from the Premier League, it does not appear that Barca is eager to part ways with their midfield star.

"Barcelona can assure you we will not entertain any offers for Cesc," Barcelona vice president Josep Maria Bartmoeu told Sky Sports. "It is totally ruled out, he's not for sale."

Gareth Bale a Possibility at Old Trafford?

If the move to reel in Cesc Fabregas falls through for Manchester United, the English club is prepared to make another significant offer to Tottenham superstar Gareth Bale.

Bale is said to have a certain level of interest in moving to the EPL champs and to possibly make matters easier for the 24-year-old winger, Bleacher Report indicates that higher-ups at Old Trafford have a £60 offer prepared for the rising talent, even if the Spurs aren't ready to part ways with Bale.

"Gaz is a Tottenham player and the manager has come out and said he's staying, and that's great news," Tottenham teammate Michael Dawson told Mirror Football recently. "To do what Gaz did last year was sensational, some of the goals he scored and the points he won for us."

"He helped us to get to 72 points and I'm sure he'll be doing that again next year," Dawson continued. "He'll concentrate and do what he does for Tottenham and hopefully keep scoring goals."

What's Next for Wayne Rooney?

Another interesting topic of discussion around Old Trafford focuses on the future of Wayne Rooney. Playing with the Red Devils for the past 9 seasons, the 27-year-old forward is now a highly coveted target of Man U rival Chelsea.

After an initial offer from Chelsea said to involve Juan Mata or David Luiz and £10 was rejected by Manchester United, Sky Sports reports that Jose Mourinho and the Blues have put together a fresh proposal.

"Chelsea is interested in this player," Mourinho said. "The club knows we want the player, the player has to know we made a bid for him. Now we have nothing more to say. We don't want to make public the bid but it is just a certain amount of money and it doesn't involve players or players in the possibility of negotiation."
