Manchester United continues to explore ways the club can build its roster for future success.
Coming off a 2012-2013 campaign that saw the team enjoy another English Premier League title, Old Trafford and head coach David Moyes are interested in multiple high-profile players across the globe and according to the latest news, Man U may not have to look to far to land its most recent interest.
With strong interest coming across multiple fronts for the services of Tottenham's Gareth Bale, the time to launch an offer may be now for Manchester United.
Locked in a reported battle with Real Madrid, Bleacher Report notes that Manchester United can't afford to miss out on Bale because the move would allow them to part ways with Wayne Rooney while brining in a significant level of talented youth.
New manager David Moyes has the pressure not to let the reigning EPL champs slip, and he is dealing with an increasingly anxious fan base that has watched the Red Devils' rivals make improvements while the club has yet to make headlines.
The Red Devils cannot let this opportunity pass. This would allow them to let the disgruntled Wayne Rooney move on and do so by bringing in a younger upgrade.
There is no doubt that it will take more money to acquire Bale than they will get in the sale of Rooney, but this is a club prepared to spend money. This is the perfect opportunity for it to do so.

While Manchester United is certainly expected to remain in the hunt for Gareth Bale, Real Madrid has also been linked to the star midfielder.
Despite their attempts to acquire the player, The Independent is reporting that Bale will reject any offer from the Bernabeu in order to remain close to his family. Recent reports in Spain suggested that Bale was nearing a move to Real Madrid and that the 2 sides agreed to a six-year deal.
Tottenham denied any rumors of a signing between Bale and Real Madrid while Spurs head coach Andre Villas-Boas told The Guardian that the 24-year-old and his current team are in discussion regarding a new contract.
There was contact between the club and his agent last year and there is ongoing contact between the club and his agent.
We renewed his contract at the beginning of last season, if you remember, and it's something that is being dealt with by the chairman and the agent.
Talks are ongoing but that doesn't mean there is an agreement. At the moment we're confident that the player is under contract at Tottenham, as was done last year.
It's something that we're speaking about, but there aren't any developments.

Tottenham is hoping to improve upon a fifth place finish in the Premier League from a year ago and retaining a player with the skill set of Bale would certainly be a major step in competing next season.
Man U on the other hand would love nothing more than to add another player that will help the club retain its top spot in the Premier League.
