Manchester United top goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo showed off his amazing shredded physique ahead of the 2022/23 season as he shared a photograph on Instagram on Sunday.
The Portuguese footballer shared on Instagram a picture of himself working out at the gym. "Feeling Good," Ronaldo wrote in the caption. He was posing with his arms straight on a pommel horse, sporting his muscular arms, shoulders, chest.
He is on a vacation in Majorca, Spain, making the most of his time with his long-time partner Georgina Rodriguez, alongside their five children. The family is reportedly staying in a lavish villa at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains; still, the footballer is believed to maintain his focus on his fitness in preparation for the upcoming season.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner is deeply committed to the gym. He has a strict workout routine and a specific diet to stay fit, not only for his club but for his national team of Portugal as well. Ronaldo has his gym, and he is known to frequently resort to muscle recovery tools like cryotherapy, a therapy that uses intense cold to freeze and destroy diseased or exhausted tissue. He has invested almost £50,000 ($70,000) in a special cryotherapy chamber.
The former Juventus star has also focused his diet on a high protein intake of up to six meals a day at three or four hours intervals. "If you train regularly, it is important to maintain high energy levels to fuel your body and achieve better performance," Ronaldo previously said.
The chef of the Portugal soccer team, Luis Lavrador, said, "He eats all kinds of dishes, as a responsible athlete that he is, but the one he likes the most is fish such as sea bream, swordfish and sea bass."
Meanwhile, Ronaldo will reportedly lead the Portuguese football team in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Portugal successfully managed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup for the sixth straight time by defeating North Macedonia by 2-0 in the World Cup Qualifiers final in March. The team will play against Ghana on Nov. 24 at the Stadium 974 in their campaign opener.
