A member of the Uruguayan national team, Suarez is currently in South America getting ready for the team's friendly with France and while he's had success with Liverpool, the 26-year-old star says his desire to leave the club is strictly due to personal reasons and not about his financial situation, as many believe.
"My reason for leaving is not the money," Suarez said at a Press conference Thursday. If it were the money I would have left already. My main reason is my family and my image. That's my priority now. It's a difficult moment for me."
Taking part in three separate interviews this week, Suarez is leading many to conclude that his desire to exit Liverpool would ultimately lead to him joining international powerhouse Real Madrid.

Suggesting that a move to Real might be the best thing for himself since the star striker has an unhealthy relationship with the English media, Suarez knows it will be hard to turn down a Real offer.
"It would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid," Suarez told BBC News. "I'm not prepared to continue suffering at the hands of the English media. I know it is normal being followed by the press, but it was too much. All the silly things they said about me, all the pictures, all the taunts. That happened every day and nobody supported me."
Quickly responding to the wishes of their player, Liverpool announced that they support Suarez although they do not expect a move in the near future.
"Luis Suarez is not for sale," a team spokesperson said. "The club remains supportive of Luis and expects him to honor his contract. The club will not be making any further comment at this time."
