"Lo Que La Vida Me Robó" is in a time of transition where no character is safe and the story lines are changing episode by episode. The telenovela starring Angelique Boyer as Montserrat and Sebastián Rulli as Alejandro has been a hit on Univision's primetime block beating the competition nightly. Spoiler Alert! Spoiler Alert! Episode 132 has Montserrat drenched in wine from the drunk Fabiola (Lisset) who wanted to ruin her wedding. Carlota (Gaby Rivero) has the horrible idea of using the wedding dress that Montse used when she married Alejandro. Meanwhile the latter is en route to Agua Azúl and arrives just after Montserrat and José Luis take their vows. He arrives too late and unable to stop the wedding. His friend Victor doesn't allow him to go after her as that can expose him and could cost him his life. Pedro lets Nadia see her daughter, but only so she can seed the child into letting her believe he is the father.
Episode 131 has Josefina (Veronica Jaspeado) back in Agua Azul gathering information for Nadia and Victor (Alejandro Avila). As she made the trip from Argentina to Mexico, Pedro Medina (Sergio Sendel) found Nadia, kidnapped her daughter Victoria and sent someone to kill Victor. Josefina calls Nadia and tells her Montserrat is getting ready to marry José Luis (Luis Roberto Guzmán), but Nadia is being threatened by Pedro on the other side of the phone. Josefina thinks its best to not tell Montserrat, Alejandro is still alive and in coma because she finally was able to come out of her depression.
However, Nadia isn't able to tell Josefina that Alejandro is out of the come and en-route to Mexico. Meanwhile, Laurito and Victoria meet and he shows her a photo of his father Alejandro, whom he thinks is dead. Victoria tells him that, that is her uncle Alejandro. Laurito is bother by Victoria because he thinks he is lying. Both kids ran away from their respective parents, Pedro and José Luis and we will find out what the outcome of this situation is on the next episode. Montserrat is getting ready for the wedding when the drunk Fabiola (Lisset) comes in with a glass of wine in hand and spills it all over her white dress.
Episode 124 has Pedro Medina (Sergio Sendel) receiving news that Nadia (Alejandra Garcia) was spotted playing at a concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The pianist had run away with her husband threatened to kill her, her lover Victor (Alejandro Avila) and her then unborn baby. Montserrat and José Luis (Luis Roberto Guzmán) grow closer together and he asks her to marry him. Feeling that she is ready to move in, Montserrat takes him up on his offer. Back in Argentina, Alejandro finally wakes up from his coma after more than seven years.
Pedro plans a trip down to South America. Victor finds out that Alejandro woke up for a couple of minutes and the doctor informs him that he can now breathe on his own and not need help. Dimitrio (Osvaldo Benavides) is falling for Monica and is telling his nephew Laurito. The latter creates a confusion when Monica calls pranking her and telling her that he is Dimitrio's son and to not bother them anymore. Montserrat goes to the beach and is still having a hard time coping with Alejandro's apparent death. "Tonight I say goodbye to you, knowing that when God decides to take me our souls will come together once again," Montserrat says before depositing her wedding ring in a bottle and throwing it into the ocean. The next day Alejandro wakes up once again and Montserrat is his first thought.
