"The Last: Naruto the Movie" is set to arrive in theaters on Dec. 6. Even though the official release is still a couple days away, a select few have already seen an early screening of the movie. Amid the battle against the dangerous Toneri Otsutsuki, a descendant of the Sage of Six Paths, "The Last: Naruto the Movie" also delivers the long overdue development of Naruto's love life.

Last month, rumors were buzzing when Sukima Switch, the jazz duo that made the theme song for "The Last: Naruto the Movie," revealed their latest music CD cover art that featured Naruto and Hinata sharing a sentimental moment in a quiet forest. The illustration captured a rare moment of peace in the shinobi world, and it looked like Hinata and Naruto chose to be in each other's company. It was premature to jump to conclusions at the time, but Naruto and Hinata sure look like a heartwarming couple.

Shortly following the Sukima Switch cover art leak, an even more scintillating new illustration surfaced: a picture that suggested Naruto and Hinata would start a family, including a son and a daughter. On Naruto's left is a boy that looks just like Naruto when he was younger, except the boy carries Hinata's timid personality as well as the Hyuga bloodline's Byakugan! On Hinata's right is a girl that looks just like Hinata, except she possesses Naruto's bright blue eyes and Naruto's outgoing personality.

Finally, we can put the rumors and speculations to rest. Leaked still shots from "The Last: Naruto the Movie" were taken earlier this week and actually reveal a moment when Naruto and Hinata share a kiss. The lovers kiss while floating in mid air, probably due to change in gravity caused by the abnormally close proximity of the moon (We have Toneri Otsutsuki to thank for that).

During an interview with Nogizaka46 member Rina Ikoma, "Naruto" creator Masashi Kishimoto revealed that some of the elements in Naruto and Hinata's love story were influenced by Kishimoto's relationships and personal romantic experiences. In particular, Kishimoto's staff believed that knitting a scarf for a romantic interest was sort of cliche. However, Kishimoto admitted that his wife had knitted him a scarf, which is why it was so important for Kishimoto to use that idea.

"The Last: Naruto the Movie" will finally open in Japanese theaters on Saturday, Dec. 6. Don't miss the interview with Masashi Kishimoto below!
