You'd think that after collaborating in one of the best salsa jams of all time, La India and Marc Anthony would be best friends. Well, think again! Because something tells us there's serious beef between the two.
While promoting her new single "Ahora Que Te Vas" on Ismael Cala en CNN Español, the Puerto Rican songstress assured that her colleague does not like it when they ask him about her.
"People don't leave the poor guy alone. Maybe if people stop asking about La India, he wouldn't be so bothered," La India told Cala. "Imagine having to hear all the time: 'India, India, India...and when will you collaborate again?' They don't ask him about his successful career and I think that bothers him."
On the other hand, La Princesa de la Salsa admits that she doesn't mind talking about Marc, but it gets annoying when she's trying to promote a new production and people don't change the subject. "We made an iconic song together, but we never thought it'd be so big," she stated.
The Puerto Rican pair recorded their smash hit "Vivir Lo Nuestro" in 1994 and a collaboration 21 years after would be "interesting," according to La India. "You never know what could happen in the future," she said in a recent interview with Tv y Novelas. "Until now, I feel very positive and very proud of forming part of a duo that left many people talking."
We wonder if the "Vivir Mi Vida" is up for the reunion, especially after calling her out at a concert in Colombia in 2014.
"This song was recorded with a 'weird chick' which I do not like," he said to all his fans. Marc also said "Vivir Lo Nuestro" is one of his favorite songs, but not the singer who he recorded it with.
