"Kingdom Hearts III" is still years away, so why even brother writing about it? Well, because it's time fans tell game director Testuya Nomura exactly what they want to the see in the next installment of "Kingdom Hearts." We do have at least 2 years to wait, so hopefully Square Enix will take fans concerns into consideration. If you haven't yet heard the horrible news regarding the KH3 delayed release date, I'm sorry to be the one to break it to you. The delay is attributed to the development of "Final Fantasy XV," Nomura serves as game director for both titles, and does not spilt his time between the two games, in the recent months he has solely focused on "Final Fantasy XV." In an interview with IGN, Nomura himself confirmed the delayed release of the game and discussed the slow development process, saying that Kingdom Hearts 3 "is still pretty early in development."

"Kingdom Hearts 3" producer Shinji Hashimoto is urging fans to have patience. "A lot of people have wondered for the last couple of years if Square Enix has actually been working on Kingdom Hearts III; that's why we announced it at E3 this year," the Kingdom Hearts 3 producer told IGN, adding, "But please, we need you all to understand that there's a lot to do." So with all of this time and patience, fans are speculating about what they will see in the new game and more importantly what they want to see! The multiple spinoffs of the series angered fans mostly because they just weren't "Kingdom Hearts III," but that doesn't mean they are all throw away titles. Fans would love to see the battle mechanics from "Birth By Sleep" incorporated into KH3, the main critic of previous Kingdom Hearts installments is that the game play is "tedious." But now if the advanced battle mechanics from "Birth By Sleep" are incorporated, KH3 could equip characters with rechargeable skills, meaning players could engage in the game without being distracted by magic points.

Another addition fans are looking for are expansive new worlds with FlowMotion. "Dream Drop Distance" was notable for its inclusion of FlowMotion, which allows fans an interesting mechanic to navigating through worlds. The game play mechanic allowed Sora and Riku to traverse their surrounding environments while interacting with certain environmental elements. Using FlowMotion, Sora and Riku can jump off of walls, grind rails, leap great heights, and dynamically attack opponents. With the recent acquisition of even more Disney worlds, Square Enix should take advantage of new worlds and next-gen home consoles to incorporate an even more upgraded version of FlowMotion. And while we are in these new Disney worlds, fans are dying to see Star Wars and Marvel brought to life! The two worlds of Star Wars and Marvel, filled with characters gives KH3 endless possibilities, literally endless. Simply the light vs. the darkness theme in Star Wars directly relates to KH, let's make it work Nomura!

Another addition fans are looking for are some villains. With KH3 fans want to see a return to the roots of the game and with that they are looking for more Disney worlds, and even bigger roles from Disney villains. In the original installment, Disney villains, led by Maleficent, were the integral antagonists, fans want to see them back. The fight between notable villains and Sora and company helps build the connection while the heroes rushed to save the 7 princesses of light. The last main addition, fans are clamoring for in KH3 is mature character development. The characters in the game are obviously aging, therefore they are maturing, and fans want to see some older storylines while still maintaining the Disney charm.

But despite all of this "Kingdom Hearts 3" fun it seems unlikely that "Kingdom Hearts 3" will be appearing on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One any earlier than 2015, and even this two-year waiting period is optimistic because one must consider that the 2014 release date of "Final Fantasy XV" has yet to be confirmed.
